Full Groom
A bath, a full brush out, and the haircut you actually asked for. Your dog stays with me from start to finish, never crated between steps.
From $50 for dogs, from $60 for cats. Price is set by weight and moves with coat condition.
How it goes
- We talk first. Coat type, age, any handling history, and what you want them to look like. Bring a photo if you have one; it saves a lot of guessing.
- You hear the price. Before I start, not after. If the coat changes the number, you find out then.
- Bath, dry, brush out. A full brush out before any clipper touches the coat. Cutting into an unbrushed coat is how you get a bad haircut.
- The cut. Your choice of style. Breaks whenever your pet needs one.
- Home the same visit. No kennel wait for pickup.
Most Full Grooms take two to three hours depending on size and coat. That is slower than a high-volume salon, and it is the point.
Questions
How long does a full groom take?
Two to three hours for most dogs. Longer for a heavy double coat, a large breed, or a pet who needs breaks. I book the time rather than rushing the dog.
Can I ask for a specific cut?
Yes. Bring a photo if you have one. If the coat cannot hold the style you want, I will tell you before we start and suggest the closest thing that will.
Do you do cats?
Yes, including lion cuts. Cat grooming gets its own appointment and its own pace.
What if my dog has never been groomed?
Tell me when you book. We can start with a shorter first visit so it is not overwhelming. First grooms.
Grooming hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, inside Camp Bow Wow Monument in Monument. Those are not the same as Camp Bow Wow's front desk hours, so please come during grooming hours. Serving Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor and Gleneagle.
