Nail Trims
In and out, no bath, no fuss. Also the easiest way to find out how your pet does with me before booking anything longer.
$22 for a trim and grind. Included free with any Bath & Brush or Full Groom.
How it goes
- Trim. Taking the tip, staying well clear of the quick.
- Grind. Smooths the edge so nothing catches on carpet or skin.
- Check the dewclaws. The ones that get missed and grow into the pad.
- About fifteen minutes.
This is the appointment I recommend first for anxious pets. It is short, it is cheap, and it tells us both a lot.
Questions
How often do nails need doing?
Every three to six weeks for most dogs. If you can hear them clicking on a hard floor, they are too long.
My dog hates having his feet touched.
Very common. We go one foot at a time, with breaks, and if we only get two feet done today that is still progress. It gets easier with repetition.
Do you do cat nails?
Yes, and nail caps if you want them.
Grooming hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, inside Camp Bow Wow Monument in Monument. Those are not the same as Camp Bow Wow's front desk hours, so please come during grooming hours. Serving Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor and Gleneagle.
