Every price is a starting point, not a quote. Two dogs the same weight can take very different amounts of time. Coat condition matters more than size: a matted coat, a heavy undercoat mid-blow, or a pet who needs frequent breaks all take longer. You will always hear the price before I start, never after.

Why do cats cost more than a small dog?
Because they take longer. A cat groom is not a fast job done carefully, it is a slow job done at the cat's pace, with breaks. The price reflects the time.
What if my dog is matted?
De-matting is $15 and up depending on how much there is and how tight it sits. If the coat is too tight to work through safely, the kind answer is a short clip rather than an hour of pulling. I will talk you through it before I start. More on matting.
Do you take payment at the appointment?
Yes, at the end of the appointment. Booking online does not charge you anything up front.
